A Statement Piece Inspired by New Zealand’s Dark and Enduring Fascination
Crafted for those who have always been slightly more fascinated by the darker corners of human nature than is perhaps entirely explainable, the Murder Edition is more than just a conversation starter. It is a nod to New Zealand’s undeniable fascination with a gripping murder mystery—from compelling crime novels and television dramas to true-crime documentaries and podcasts that prove almost impossible to switch off.
Dark, enigmatic, and impossible to overlook, this boldly designed decanter brings theatrical intensity and a knowing sense of mischief to any home bar, study, or collection. It is the kind of piece that true-crime enthusiasts, mystery lovers, and anyone with a suitably dark sense of humour will appreciate immediately, without requiring the slightest explanation.
Why You Will Love It
Intensely Original Dark Design
A carefully crafted decanter with striking visual impact and a distinctly theatrical character. It stands completely apart from anything else in a serious collection—and makes absolutely no apology for doing so.
Made for Whisky Lovers
A decanter with the same dark, complex, and quietly compelling character as the genre it celebrates. The kind of piece that rewards a second look and leaves everyone who encounters it with considerably more questions than answers.
A True Showstopper
Display it in your home bar, study, or living room and it will earn a reaction from everyone who encounters it—ranging from a sharp intake of breath to a delighted laugh, and occasionally both at once.
A Gift for the Mystery Lover in Your Life
Perfect for true-crime enthusiasts, Agatha Christie devotees, detective-drama fans, and the wonderfully dark-humoured people in your life who have always found the shadowy side of human nature far more interesting than the straightforwardly cheerful one.
More Than a Decanter
This is not just a piece for the home bar. It is about what it represents: mystery, suspense, and New Zealand’s enduring fascination with being simultaneously appalled and completely captivated by a brilliantly constructed crime. The perfect companion for settling in with a good dram and discovering how the mystery unfolds. A collector’s piece made to be displayed, admired, and discussed at length.
Raise a Glass to the Perfect Whodunit
From Agatha Christie and Sherlock Holmes to modern true-crime documentaries and gripping detective dramas, celebrate the mysteries that keep New Zealanders guessing until the final clue—and coming back for just one more story.
